My oldest took off for college yesterday. I helped move him in for a summer program back in July, so most of his stuff was already there. It was a little strange watching him drive away. My advice to college kids is - be a joiner, but donโt be afraid to be a quitter. Similar to your link, I think itโs almost always a good idea to join in with people. I add the second part because of the sunk cost fallacy. Which of course doesnโt mean follow your whims or donโt follow through on commitments. Use discernment, be trustworthy and responsible, but minds can change.
Can you say more about St. Michaelโs Lent? Iโm intrigued and most of what I find online is directed at men. Is there a specific list of things to give up and/or include? Other resources youโve found?
