Rest, sleep, breaks, and what about lunch
This weekend, I am moving all the stuff out of my mom's independent living place. She has moved permanently to the nursing wing of her senior center following a stroke 3 months ago. I have been putting this off a bit, and the deadline is looming. I decided to just get it done so that we are out and I can worry about arranging a pickup from a charity when it's at my house. So that step will cease all the exhaustion of constantly being over there, and I can take the week off from thinking about it any more.
Rest seems to be the word this week.
One of my daily readings, just yesterday, had me thinking about rest.
“So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. So let us do our best to enter that rest. But if we disobey God, as the people of Israel did, we will fall.”
Hebrews 4:9, 11 NLT
And I love lunch!!
Have a wonderful trip.
