Further...Have you considered putting all these essays into a book? I have read your writing and listened to your podcast for years so I am in a unique position to watching you grow and change. My favorite change is the conversion and overt sharing of faith. I would keep such a collection on my bedside table to read before turning out the lights. Just a thought...
I'm one of those Northerners who's starting to see a few leaves changing ... can't wait for full on autumn! Nevertheless, I'm still in shorts today. I have two sons living in Texas (one in Austin, as a matter of fact), so I'm constantly checking on the weather down there and comparing notes with our boys. Not sure I could take the intensity of Texas heat for the long haul, but I do love to visit. May you soon be blessed with blue jeans weather! ;-)
Just a note, because it matters, I think. The about Jesus and feeding the poor was a quotation from Antonin Scalia, and was cited in the piece as such by Klavan.
"In the late nineties, there was an accident at the Coke factory: someone dropped a Smashmouth CD and a Teen Study Bible into a vat of Surge, and the resulting explosion created Pastor Todd."
So much wisdom I'm looking forward to unpacking (the billionaire piece in particular). But for now, the Italian minions on repeat.
Isn't it hilariously charming?
I have been checking Spotify for A Drink with a Friend updates. This new one isn't there. Help!

A book of essays could be fun! Hmm.... 🤔
Yeah, I know — it's on my to-do list to fix this morning! Not sure what's up.
It's fixed! Yet it may take 24 hours to show up.
Great!

Thank you! It's actually been one of the mildest summers on record for us, so no complaints really...
