I had to laugh at this week's poll, because I hadn't even heard of most of the candy you were referring to, being a Canadian who has spent very little time visiting the US.

That Carmelite community - so. much. drama. with them. Ron went to the Philadelphia Monastery to secure it when our Archbishop ordered the remaining sole nun to relocate to the Nebraska community leaving the property empty. The Fairfield community nuns couldn't take City life, essentially, and all that comes with it - noise, crime, etc. I miss our local monastic connection to the Martin Saints. Even religious people can behave like ordinary people at times.
