My husband and I were just discussing the mayhem that is the grocery store right now (we live west of Fort Worth). Are we Texans forever damaged from the 2021 storm?! I went to my HEB on WEDNESDAY and it was bonkers! They were out of chicken, almost out of milk, hardly any beef, no sausage!! I hope and pray we don't lose power bc that means we lose water (we have a well), but am grateful for a really good fireplace and a stack of firewood.
Yeah, I think many Texans are still knee-jerkish due to that crazy winter… The toilet paper and chocolate sections were almost entirely picked over at my HEB yesterday. 🫠
In my local grocery store bread, bananas, milk and what do ya know frozen pizza were all gone. Luckily we are above freezing in DFW. We survived without losing power. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
It depends, but my ideal is in bed by 9:30; lights out by 10:00. I sometimes nod off in my living room chair before then (my to my children’s delight).
