My daughter (who also turned 20 in February!) will study abroad this summer. Your letters fill me with hope and excitement for her, and they also help push against the anxiety I sometimes feel as I anticipate her adventures. I look forward to sharing your words of wisdom with my daughter and having our own conversations along the way!

I wish I had had a mother like you. More importantly, I wish I had been as wise a mother to my daughter as you. Wonderful and I feel like I am getting to know Tate through you. Can you explain what a relationship of virtue means? I understand the convenience kind - doing same things at same time. I have never heard of a relationship of virtue before. Do you mean uplifting and God-centered? Last, I read a sentence in a book this week: "please give me a God focused heart." Maybe that defines a relationship of virtue. Love the Tate letters!
