I am literally pulling apart a pork roast for the grad party tomorrow as I listen to this episode! As usual, you two are spot on. The reflections on parenting a HS Senior resonate so deeply, and the advice to younger self reminds me that I still have time to make parenting changes for my younger kids (16, 10, 7 & 4 y/o). The way the Lord mysteriously works through it all is so incredible. It is truly not about us!
I’m LITERALLY setting up for a graduation crawfish boil so… same same? (I do love a good pulled pork.) We have a little time to make some parenting changes, too, mostly with our 11 year old who is determined to be a non-artsy, sporty, EXTREMELY normal kid. Which is to say he’s so different than our older 3 that I’m not so sure whether anything we learned with the others will be remotely helpful. 🤣
