Thank you for this post to help get my mind wrapped around Lent. I’m from the big Texas non denom world and in past few year, started dipping my toe into the pool of saints, formation/direction, and advent + Lent so your resources have been incredibly helpful for our family. I still have no idea what to fast. Everything I think of that I would really notice….well, I don’t wanna!!! 😩 OR it affects others which feels weird.
Thanks to one of your recent interviews I have just discovered The Bible in a Year podcast and am wanting to start at the beginning and catch up on listening to it during Lent. I may fast from other audiobooks or podcasts during that time as well- except for A Drink with a Friend- obviously :) I may also join you in your Gluttony fast...
