I love the look and premise of a Wise phone. My only hesitation is the lack of podcasts, music, etc. Since there's literally no way to get a portable music player that isn't a phone I just am very loathe to give that up. There are practical concerns there too - for instance, right now my phone is acting as a white noise machine while the baby is napping and nursing.
Very excited for your Catholic convert series. Also a convert so will be interested to learn more about your journey!
You know how sometimes, in the internet world, one asks, "Does anyone *really* notice if I'm gone for a bit?" Throughout the month, I found myself asking what the date was just to see how much longer you'd be quiet. I fully support the month away but, gosh, I'm excited to have you back and to leave your work with lovely ideas! Very excited about the convert series!
Why thank you! And yes, I understand your sentiment exactly... In fact, I find the answer to be somewhere in the middle — the "your people" miss your voice, but also, no one really misses us if we step back for a bit to do what we need to do — in all the right ways. You know? I think we often both over- and underestimate the value of our voice.

That was also my hesitation with something like a Wisephone, but apparently V.2 has a audio media player! So, we'll see how it works.
